Naval Engagement! 5.5+ and Underway! 5.5+ This version of the simulator is designed to work with FSUIPC to send and receive information from the simulator and Microsoft's Flight Simulator

This version allows pilots to interact with the simulation and perform functions never before available such as using a helo to drop sonobuoys to locate, track, and destroy submarines. The pilot can also watch as missiles fly between ships, launch chaff, and many other exciting real-time events

This work is being accomplished for the Virtual US Navy - http://www.vusn.org

In addition to this, Underway! is able to communicate with Flight Simulator ships allowing a ship driver to interact with aircraft in real-time.

The system, as of 1 November 2008, is now capable of interacting with all major VUSN aircraft. See the VUSN page for list of aircraft. Over 150 platforms are now available (surface, submarine, and other aircraft)

Utilization of Underway! requires access to the Naval Engagement! server currently in testing.
