Linux Installation provides the student with the knowledge to install the various Linux flavors, cover the GNU GPL (General Public License), a brief history of Linux, and many other things. Interjected throughout the lectures are a series of hands-on labs and instructor imparted lessons learned.

Linux Installation is a 5 day course covering 40 hours of combined lecture and lab. Hands on lab work is heavily emphasized and class size is limited to 8 students. An understanding of fundamental computer operations is expected. Concepts such as file system, booting an OS, Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) is expected.
