Linux Administration is a course designed to train the beginning Linux Administrator
in the basic techniques of managing a Linux system from creating and managing users, hardware, file systems, and servers. Additionally we
teach an intro to shell scripting class, process management, and graphical management tools. Interjected throughout the lectures
are a series of hands-on labs and instructor imparted lessons learned.

Linux Administration is a 5 day
course covering 40 hours of combined lecture and lab. Hands on lab work
is heavily emphasized and class size is limited to 8 students. An understanding of fundamental
computer operations is expected. Concepts such as file system, booting an OS, Graphical User Interfaces
(GUIs) is expected.
